This project was to provide design services for a 175,000 square foot outpatient facility constructed to OSHPD-III standard on the campus of Scripps memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The structure is six (6) stories above grade and one (1) story below grade. It is connected at the basement and second level to the new SCI Tower 1 project to the east and at the basement level to the existing Schaetzel building to the north. The scope of work includes the demolition of the Whittier and McDonald buildings currently located on the site as well as the road realignment shown on the conditional use Permit (CUP) documents.  Also included in the scope is the relocation of Graduate Medical education (GME) to a portion of the lower level of the Schaetzel building.
